AUDITION NOTICE

PERFORMING AT FRINGE WORLD PERTH / ADELAIDE FRINGE FESTIVAL 2018
Auditions are taking place September 28-29-30th, 2017.
New theatre work to be toured at Fringe Festivals in February 2018. A number of creative and production roles are open, including performance, AV tech and design.
Note: this production contains strong sexual content, drug references & some violence.
PAYMENT:
Based on a standard MEAA co-op agreement, rehearsal will be done on a volunteer basis, with food & travel allowances made available during production weeks and tour. Flights and accommodation will be covered. All subsequent profits will be distributed fairly among the cast and crew.
SCHEDULE:
Planning and development between now & November (small commitment).
Rehearsal will begin from late November- mid January, with breaks appropriate for the holidays. All rehearsals will take place in Wollongong (part-time commitment).
Performances will commence in late January and early February, with previews in Wollongong and Sydney, with the tour to last until Feb 24th. You will need to be available for production week, previews and shows throughout the month. A travel allowance will be made available to assist during this time.

APRIORI PROJECTS – about me
As a performer and producer I have taken part in a range of live action/ endurance and immersive performance projects at various festivals in NSW such as Crack, Tiny Stadiums and The Rocks Village Bizarre. Apriori Projects have run immersive theatre workshops and toured shows around Australia, most recently receiving “Festival Pick” at the Sydney Fringe and “Best Theatre Week 3” at the Adelaide Fringe for Decadence.
Based in Wollongong I seek opportunities to create meaningful, fun modes of performance which question the status quo and the very nature of what it means to be ‘audience’.
